Here you will find our recommendations for collars, harnesses and clothing that are suitable for a pug.
A typical pug weighs 6–8 kg. Our size recommendations are based on these measurements, but we always recommend checking the measurements on the specific product to ensure the best fit.
Remember – you can always return or exchange size at Hunni, both in store and online.
Clothes for pugs
The biggest challenge with clothes for pugs is finding a fit that accommodates the wide chest without being too long.
Cloud7 (French Bulldog models)
These jackets have extra space for the chest and therefore also fit a small and slimmer pug very well. We recommend choosing based on back length and checking the size guide for the specific product.

Paikka rain and winter jackets
They often fit the pug perfectly because they can be adjusted in both length and width. This provides good freedom of movement.
Most pugs fit sizes 30–35 , but always double-check the measurements.

Dog collar for pug
The pug's short, wide neck and loose skin require a collar that is narrow, soft and comfortable – otherwise it may fold or fit poorly.

Dog harnesses for pugs
The pug has a compact body with a broad chest and short back → requires a harness with good support that does not put undue pressure.

What about the Y-harness?
Can be challenging due to the pug's large head and short neck if the neckline cannot be adjusted.
However, we have two models that can be customized so much that they work really well:
Cloud7 ACTIVE Y2 → typically XS or S
Dog Copenhagen → most pugs → size S
